Work with a microphone, recording your voice for practice and analysis. Detailed critique provides you with a clear picture of your present vocal abilities and options for attaining your goals.

Emphasis on technique for power in the high range used in pop styles including rock, pop, jazz and theater. Develop solo material, sightreading & ear training skills. Digital recording available.

Learn and perform harmony from rock and pop repertoire including class project "Bohemian Rhapsody". Brush up on your blend with exercises to develop your ear for parts. Bring in your own song for maximizing vocal technique on your own material.

Singer's Workshop director, Janet Russell, and her team of native speakers will guide you through familiar songs by artists like Edith Piaf, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Gloria Estefan, Ritchie Valens, Astrud Gilberto, Sergio Mendez and Antonio Carlos Jobim.
